A social community for Seton parishioners and friends.

St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, a Roman Catholic parish, is located in Shrub Oak, Town of Yorktown, Westchester County, New York, U.S.A.

What Can I Do Here?

1. Start a Group for anything you think there might be interest from others (ex., Senior Friends, Election 2008, Catholic Teaching, Reviews, Where'd You Come From?).
2. Start a discussion (Forum) such as "Our Obligation to Others -- Where Does It End?", "Original Sin?"
3. Create your own Blog!
4. Upload Photos and/or Videos to share with friends and relatives in the parish and elsewhere in the world.
5. Hook-up with old friends and make new ones.
6. Invite friends to join the network (whether from Seton Parish or elsewhere).
7. Link to information sites and view and read comments, pictures and videos from others.

College Essay Vs Personal Statement

Usually colleges have their own guidelines when it comes to college essay for admission or personal statements. It depends on what the actual college requires. You should consider that the colleges look at more than just college essays for admission statements; they look at your grades, GPA, class standing, extracurricular activities, and school service before the… Continue

St. Elizabeth Ann (Bayley) Seton as a young woman.

St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish is made up of families and singles, of all ages, backgrounds and stages of development, residing in Northern Westchester and Putnam counties, NY. We are one of 414 Catholic parishes in the 10 counties of the Archdiocese of New York from Tivoli to Tottenville. It is the first American Catholic parish graced with the name of Elizabeth Ann (Bayley) Seton (1774 - 1821), the first American-born saint and a New Yorker. Visit the Seton web site for all church and parish information (http://www.seton-parish.org).

This social network is an unofficial site of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church.

This network has been established in the tradition of our patroness, St. Elizabeth Ann (Bayley) Seton. Members may post text, pictures and videos on their own pages and invite other folks to join -- but it should be understood you bear some responsibility for those you invite. It should also be understood that material posted by individuals does not necessarily represent the opinions of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, its staff, or McMullen & McMullen, nor do the aforementioned have responsibility for the content of such material.
